I started this family tradition on our blog in 2017 year of reflecting on our year in pictures and I had so much fun writting it.
2018, what a year that humbled my family, stretched us, and the prophetic Word my husband received from God in the first picture below definitely came to pass in our lives, spiritually, financially, and everything in between!
Enjoy re-living 2018 with us 😄😄

We ushered in the new year praising God and experiencing His presence. The video (click to view) from New Year’s Eve December 31st 2017 can still be found recorded live on Facebook.
We have enjoyed watching Hannah’s progression in swimming as she grows older! She was officially enrolled in Waterbabies UK January. I wrote a reflection of her Chapter 1 class on our blog and now she is on chapter 4 as the year ends!! She can swim and hold on the edge of the pool on her own, get out of the pool on her own, and is comfortable underwater.
Helped in planning and hosting my regional church’s young woman’s conference. It was a pleasure to be amongst the speakers; I helped discuss the myths surrounding being a Born Again Christian and a feminist. We just can’t be both. My husband helped lead praise and worship and it was an AWESOME TIME!
I had an idea to start a podcast explaining the heart behind each blog. We managed to record two and one live on Love and Friendship still able to be listened here or Soundcloud or the podcast app on apple. It was a good experience but we were no longer lead to continue making the podcasts.
In loving Memory of Mummy Jingi
It has been a pleasure to serve in our local church up until now and these pictures above were from attending the National Worker’s Congress to retreat and plan out more of our year.
In March God saw me fit to add another year to my life. I see birthdays as God giving us longer time on earth to fulfill all that He wants us to accomplish purposewise. I am up for the challenge and added wisdom. I feel it’s also ok to celebrate Gods faithfulness each year as lead.
April was a quiet month but a great month of growth and preparing for our first fruit and born Hannah’s first year of life celebration in May. We wrote about it HERE.
Summer 2018 fun. Beach and stroll to the park.
I started law school as well, pregnant what a journey. I still have many more years to go.
The help my husband gave while I was in school was so tremendous. He would watch our first born on Fridays when I had to commute into school. I would leave dishes in the sink and he would help me wash them and tidy the house. “I am so grateful for his support, and I love him so much” -Janet.
Last but not least Christmas day 2018, that lead into our church retreat. We were preparing to meet our second born as well.
What a great year and the beginning of the year prophecy came forth.
Thanks for reflecting back with us. God was indeed faithful!
Your Brother and Sister in Christ,
